Waiting to get baking!

We are in the process of moving.  My wife and I are looking for a new home, trying to pack the old home, and trying sell our house!  I don't know how much time I will have to bake until everything is settled.  I've packed some of my kitchen utensils and bake ware up.  I wanted to make a no-bake cheesecake and realized I had already packed up my pie plates!  So after work I'm heading to the store to buy a pie plate.  My wife's not to happy, but you can't have too many pie plates anyway.  Not going to paste the cheesecake since there's not that much involved in making it and it's no-bake.

Trying Something New

I am in the process of starting up a blog about my baking and cooking failures and triumphs.  I am going to join The Daring Kitchen http://thedaringkitchen.com/ where each month we are given a recipe to make and to blog about our experience.  I thought this would be a great idea and to add some interest to my somewhat boring life.  I kind of feel like Julie Powell and her Julie/Julia Project!  Here we go!
